LOVED THE WHOLE SERIES!!!!
I just finished the series. This is the perfect time to start with the first book in the series since you can read one book after the other until you finish the series. Believe me when I say "you wont want to wait between books". I loved loved loved this series. I can't believe this was the first series for this author. I will be reading all her books. There are 7 books in total. One for each of the 7 half-walkers. Each book is unique and will keep you engaged until the end. Each of the girls is unique, but brings the perfect personality and powers to the group. There is romance, suspense and action. The main characters are Abby and Brace, but all the supporting characters Lucy, Colton, mother, father and half-walker play an important role in the story. I fell in love with all of them, but especially with Abby and Lucy. They are sisters of the heart who love each other. They are funny, brave, and I love the spunk and way of talking. Believe me, they will become your favorites as well. START THE SERIES NOW....YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO PUT IT DOWN UNTIL YOU ARE DONE WITH THE SERIES!!! Thank you Jaymin for the Walkers series. For giving live to Abby, Lucy and all the characters in the series. But, I can't say goodbye to Abby and Lucy just yet. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring them back. I will love to see another series with books dedicated to Lucy, Abby's brother, each of the half-walkers and their children. I think there is a lot of material to write about...Lucy's life/role as a princess, the half-walkers mates and planets and Abby brother's past, present and future. I can imagine the strong connection between the half-walkers children....Lucy and Abby's mini me [I have a big smile on my face thinking about all the trouble they will get into and how protective the parents and grand parents will be.]. They will be a handful together with Fury's and the other half-walker's children. I can go on and on about possible plots, but I love your imagination. I am sure I am not the only one who will love a sequel series about the half-walkers....PLEASE PLEASE.

When I read reviews, I am always curious as to the person's age and sex, so I'll start with that; I am 23 and female. I downloaded this book because it was free, the cover was beautiful and the description enticing. The book was great for an independent author. There were grammatical errors, which I am learning just comes with the territory when you read free, independent books.
The characters are absolutely enjoyable. Both Abby and Lucy are hilarious, independent, and open minded; all qualities I appreciate. Love interest, Brace, is the enjoyable gorgeous, protective, arrogant, skilled warrior of a woman's heart that our culture seems to enjoy these days. I would have liked to have seen and heard more from him. While there are examples of his sexy arrogance and skills, it still felt a little too brief and much of what we got to observe of Brace was from Abby's perception. While Abby's perception IS entertaining, and keeping his character limited to what she sees does keep an air of mystery about him, as stated before, I would have liked more from Brace himself to feel I knew him. Abby's developing relationship with her parents is funny and enjoyable; especially with her Father.
Granted that I happen to have little patience for too much detail in surroundings, I was pleased Jaymin Eve helped me to picture the settings quite efficiently. I was never bored of her descriptions, nor did I feel I was missing something from the surroundings.
Great book! I absolutely recommend it! I only did 4 stars because of the grammar issues, and, occasionally the plot seemed to just happen conveniently; either that, or I sometimes got the same feeling I had missed something. It did not bother me that much because I get so emotionally into the books that when things go over smoothly it is just less stressful for me, too. I'd go buy the next book, but my husband has me on a $10.00 a month book budget, which I've already used up. *sigh*
I have three little girls, all under the age of 6 with a 8 week newborn. I don't have a lot of time to write reviews so I only write reviews for books that I absolutely love. This book is one of them. I usually read adult romances books with very strong alpha males that are dominant and possessive. This book is YA and the hero is just being introduced in this book so there is no actual dominant behavior from him but it doesn't even matter because the plot and story makes up for it.

The h (Abby) and her best friend (Lucy) are hilarious. There banter back and forth is so funny that it had me chuckling the whole time. Lately I have been on a book slump because everything I have been reading has been just blending together. Same thing over and over again to the point where after I was done reading a book, I couldn't really remember the details later on. This book was awesome. It was non stop from the moment the book started to the end. I love every bit of it and as soon as I finished the book, I went and bought the rest of the series. The latest one will be released at the end of this month so I don't have to wait long after I finish the last book.

The hero in the book (Brace), while in the first book doesn't become an item with the h, he does show potential cave man like behaviors. I can tell you that he does go all possessive and growls mine in the following books once he melds with the h. While they do not get intimate you can feel the strong attraction and the relationship feels real.

I would highly recommend this book for people who need something a little different. The h and H are great with fantastic supporting characters that make the book great. I have been hooked from the first book and quickly devouring the rest of the series. The h is very strong and doesn't whine and cry about how bad her life was. She just powers through and I like that. Also she is very likable and doesn't have TSTL moments.
